I decided to get JB a new desk, checked out Pottery Barn, and after picking myself up off the floor...decided I would build a corner desk myself. Ha, the only thing I'd ever built before this was a Lizard cage, and that was with 2 teenagers helping me, ie: doing 75% of the work for me. I happened upon Anna White's page, and couldn't stop reading for hours!
Now I've got a list of projects a mile long!
JB got me the master Kreg Jig for the Birthday, so now I've really got to start building and quit reading!
the workbench from the Kreg site, honestly impressed myself with how well it's come out. Biggest compliment came from Tony, our carpenter buddy, who couldn't stop raving about my craftmanship.
And the best part, I did 100% of the work, no cheap teenager help for me!
